I am organising a sporting hilly 50 in aid of St
Raphael’s Hospice North Cheam. Entry is £5 payable on the line at the start
which is at Ryka’s Cafe on Saturday 7 March 2015. Signing on begins at 9.30am
for a prompt 10am start. Route sheets are provided and the course is
challenging. There are no marshals or signs and no food stops, you need to be
self sufficient but it is a good early season training ride and the whole of
the entry fee goes to the hospice.
You can preregister (but still pay £5 at the start) by
going to www.cyclingswlondon.org.uk
Go to the yellow homepage and on the LHS you will see “Entry Form” click on
that and enter your details you will get an “Auto Reply” By going to the
centre of the page you can download the route and map. The finish will be at
the top of Box Hill at the NT. Cafe and I will be there until 2pm. For a
real challenge some guy’s do this event in under 2hrs but under 3hrs is more
the average. This event has been running for nearly 40 years promoted by CTC.
The rider however is entirely responsible for his own safety.
